Ten children from Badger Class attended a tennis festival at Easton College on Thursday 28th March 2019. Expert coaching was provided by Chris Stocker from Tennis Edge and the Sports Leaders from Old Buckenham High School. The children completed eight separate activities during the morning. Each activity was aimed at developing a different tennis skill. The children had a a really enjoyable morning improving their skills. Day 6 of the 2019 Norfolk School Games Winter Finals took place at Holkham Hall. The final day of the Winter Games schedule saw 640 young runners, from 158 schools, come together to take part in the Norfok School Games cross country finals. Each of the participants had qualified to represent their local School Sports Partnership (SSP) by taking part in a two prior qualifying competition. Each SSP team included 80 runners made up of 10 boys and 10 girls from each of year groups (3/4/5/6). Three children from Spooner Row qualified for this competition. The final placings were: 11th Place 49th Place 27th Place Well done to all three children. What a great achievement!
